Landmark, MB, is located approximately 30km southeast of Winnipeg and has a population of just under 1500 people.
Founded predominantly by Mennonite immigrants in 1920, Landmark is now made up of many cultural backgrounds. Newcomers from Winnipeg and elsewhere are choosing Landmark as a peaceful alternative to city life.

Landmark is in the Provincial Electoral District of Dawson Trail. The Provincial MLA is Bob Lagasse.
Landmark is in the Federal Electoral District of Provencher. The Federal MP is Ted Falk.

This area of Manitoba used to be called Prairie Rose and the name 'Landmark' was selected at random in 1920 by Peter M. Penner and his eldest son
Services include a credit union, a post office, an insurance company, fire hall, youth centre, an arena, the Kinsmen Community Centre, a restaurant, convenience store and gas station, as well as two schools (K-6 and 7-12) and four churches.
